What’s the second best thing to a new park opening? A park being revamped of course. In June 2018 we’d got a tip off that Bow Brickhill park had been revamped with some new play equipment. Watch our video below to see what it’s like and then scroll down for more information.

What’s at the park in Bow Brickhill?

The main attraction is a really cool new climbing frame. It’s wooden, brightly coloured and accessible for young children. There is a small climbing wall, as well as a bridge, slide and fireman’s pole. I took my youngest son to the park. At the time of writing he was almost three and really enjoyed it. If your children are even younger then just keep an eye on them around the fireman’s pole. We were there with friends whose five year olds were there and they also had fun. Other than the climbing frame, there’s also a nest swing which looks relatively new. The slide is an old-fashioned one although the steps aren’t too far apart and there are rails to hold on to. There’s also swings, baby swings, a teacup spinning thing, a basketball hoop, and loads of space to run around.

Where is Bow Brickhill park?

Bow Brickhill park is easy to find. It’s at Rushmere Close, Bow Brickhill, Milton Keynes MK17 9JB. There’s lots of parking so it’s ideal if you want somewhere to meet with friends that’s a bit out of the way and easy to park at.

We’re travelling from further afield, where else can we visit in the area?

Just a short drive from Bow Brickhill park is Little Brickhill park. It has play equipment aimed at similar age children and with a cool climbing frame and wooden train it is well worth a visit. The postcode is MK17 9LZ and if you want to see all the pictures then click this link.
