We love finding new parks and free places to visit so I was delighted when one of my facebook followers Nicole offered to send me some pictures and write a guest blog post. She’s been to New Bradwell Park so this is her review and pictures.

“This park is tucked away behind a residential area but is well worth finding. Parking is at end of Wallace Street MK13 0AR. It meanders along a stream which is overgrown so there is no access to the water. It has loads of big mature trees which provide the perfect place to picnic. The play equipment areas are split up into baby, toddler and then a mixed area as well. Both the baby and toddler areas are fenced for safety and close to the free car park. There are spaces during the day but by late afternoon it fills up with residents cars. The baby area has swings, seesaw, a rocker and one of those things that spin around really fast. The toddler area has a slide, climbing surfaces, balancing rope and monkey bars.  Down the other end of the park is a basketball court, lots of open grassed space, redways running through – perfect for biking, scootering and I even saw someone rollerblading.  There is a another play area that combines baby swings another seesaw and balancing beams.”

Note from me, Laura! If you do decide to visit this park then do take a 5 minute walk to a park I call New Bradwell Sandpit Park (other people call it the rec) which has a sandpit, rocket, climbing frame and swings. We walked up Church Street to Newport Road to get there. If you have visited somewhere after reading about it on my blog – or somewhere good and free you’d like to recommend do send me the pictures to laura@miltonkeyneskids.com.

I'm Laura, mum of two boys - aged six and four. I started this website at the end of Sept 2015 whilst on maternity leave. I now work four days a week and do this blog late at night once the little boys are sleeping. It's won several awards over the last four years and I continue to run it for free and mostly focus on free, cheap, and good value days out. Do drop me an email laura@miltonkeyneskids.com if you want to contact me. Don't forget to follow all of our latest adventures on facebook, instagram and twitter and have a look at all of the videos of the places we visit on the Milton Keynes Kids YouTube Channel - subscribe to it for notifications every time I add a new place. And remember... you may been reading this post months after we visited, do check with the destination you're visiting for up to date opening times and prices. If you find this blog useful then please do comment on my posts and leave me a Facebook review - it makes doing this all the more worthwhile.
