It’s November so we can officially start talking about Christmas, yay! Santa arrives at Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands this Sunday 6th Nov 2016 at 10am. It’s a free event and anyone can turn up on the day to see watch him arrive on his sleigh. So is it likely to be any good? Well I can only go by what last year was like. Our verdict? It’s ok. Watch my video below so you can see what we saw. We stood on the road just before the entrance way where Santa was in his sleigh with REAL reindeer and then followed him down the road and in to Frosts. My then 2 year old enjoyed seeing him and we stood at a good vantage point. Once we got in to the main area it was then difficult to see and hear much of what was being said. Santa then went in to the store. It wasn’t as busy as previous years. There was lots of fake snow – we loved standing in it and taking pics. The event is all about promoting the grotto and getting you in to the store. To be fair there is loads of stuff to look at in the shop so if you haven’t been yet your kids will probably enjoying looking at the singing reindeer and gingerbread house. You’ll be tempted by the pretty decorations. If you do go then go there a bit earlier to get parked. DON’T park on residential streets you’ll really annoy residents. Frosts postcode is MK17 8UE. If you live in Beds then you may like to go to the Santa arrival in Willington which is on 12th November and starts at 11am.

I'm Laura, mum of two boys - aged six and four. I started this website at the end of Sept 2015 whilst on maternity leave. I now work four days a week and do this blog late at night once the little boys are sleeping. It's won several awards over the last four years and I continue to run it for free and mostly focus on free, cheap, and good value days out. Do drop me an email laura@miltonkeyneskids.com if you want to contact me. Don't forget to follow all of our latest adventures on facebook, instagram and twitter and have a look at all of the videos of the places we visit on the Milton Keynes Kids YouTube Channel - subscribe to it for notifications every time I add a new place. And remember... you may been reading this post months after we visited, do check with the destination you're visiting for up to date opening times and prices. If you find this blog useful then please do comment on my posts and leave me a Facebook review - it makes doing this all the more worthwhile.
