One of the things I love about some cafes and restaurants in Milton Keynes is that they give a lot of thought to appealing to families. I’ve never thought that going out for lunch or dinner with young children should be stressful, but there are times when my toddler desperately wants to get down from the table and play. And so sometimes we’ll go somewhere so he can do just that… and it becomes more of an activity than just going out for a bite to eat. The Drop Off Café in Newport Pagnell is trendy, friendly and has a corner specifically for kids. They also have regular events like story time, and a children’s packed lunch for £2.50.
