Aldenham Country Park in Hertfordshire is the seventh country park we’ve visited. Why? Because we’ve found the good ones have excellent play equipment for kids, fun trails to walk around, and can be a cheap day out once you’ve got there. Does Aldenham fit this criteria? Yes….. almost. It was a 45 minute drive for us and costs £4.50 to park. It has a free Winnie-the-Pooh trail – great fun for little ones – we loved discovering all of the character’s houses. It also has one of the best adventure playground’s we’ve visited (which also caters for children with disabilities), a farm, pony rides and monkey nets, but all of those activities come at an additional cost. I took LOADS of photos – to see them all, get the latest activity prices and location details, take a look at my latest blog post.
